QHS | Quantum HVAC Sensory System
Cut chiller energy without changing the chiller.
QHS is a sensing and control overlay for existing chiller plants. It retrofits to live equipment, integrates with the BMS, and gives operators a higher-resolution control layer for cooling performance.
Product definition
QHS is a retrofit control layer for chiller plants.
The platform installs around the plant the customer already operates. The chiller, BMS and site workflow stay familiar; QHS adds the sensing resolution and control logic needed to recover performance that conventional instrumentation cannot see.
Product components
What QHS delivers
Six uplift modules, one installed platform.
Header and Q-TXV
Stabilises refrigerant superheat at the evaporator outlet and reduces losses from wet-suction or starved-evaporator operation.
Condenser water
Tracks approach temperature and tower performance in real time to reduce compressor lift.
Chilled water
Maintains delta-T across variable load and addresses low-delta-T operation.
VSD and tower fan
Coordinates variable-speed drives across the tower bank to capture fan energy savings.
MV entropic VSD
Extends control precision to medium-voltage compressor drives where the largest energy node sits.
Oil and refrigerant fingerprint
Continuously identifies mixture drift, degradation and contamination before it becomes a COP penalty.
Integration
Designed for retrofit, not replacement.
QHS mounts to existing pipework, transmitter housings and panel positions without breaking refrigerant containment or replacing OEM controls. It is designed to sit beside the building management system and improve the signal quality the plant acts on.
Qualified interfaces
Operating envelope
Built for cooling assets that cannot pause.
District cooling
Portfolio-level percentage gains compound across large installed tonnage.
Commercial real estate
Chiller efficiency becomes a direct operating-cost lever across the estate.
Hospitality and healthcare
24-hour duty cycles require efficiency gains without comfort or reliability compromise.
Cold chain and industrial cooling
Energy performance translates directly into margin and process resilience.
Commercial case
The value is measured at the meter.
For a representative 500-ton chiller in UAE commercial operation, QHS is designed to recover roughly 380,000 kWh of annual electricity waste, equivalent to about AED 175,000 in operating-cost reduction at current tariff assumptions. Pilot sites are qualified by survey and verified against baseline operation.
Pilot structure
QHS pilot
Recover the energy your chiller plant is already wasting.
QHS turns existing cooling equipment into a measured, optimised asset without replacing the chiller.
